LARAMIE -- It was announced Tuesday that Duke University will not be allowing any fans inside the famed Cameron Indoor Stadium this winter thanks to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

North Carolina, the Blue Devils' biggest rival, has yet to make that decision. Syracuse, which averaged more than 21,000 fans inside the Carrier Dome, is waiting on the OK from the state and local government.

So is BYU, Creighton, St. Mary's and plenty of other programs around the country.

A University of Wyoming press release Tuesday states that the Cowboys' home gym, the Arena-Auditorium, will allow up to 25% capacity. That means roughly 2,900 fans can attend the team's 15 scheduled home contests. The current capacity of the A-A is 11,612, according to the school's website.

The Cowboys finished 4-13 in Laramie a season ago, including an 0-9 mark in Mountain West Conference play. In its history, Wyoming has won 73% of its games on its home floor.

New head coach Jeff Linder and Co. will host Mississippi Valley State Saturday, Nov. 28 to kickoff the 2020-21 campaign. Information on tickets will be released in the coming days, according to UW.
